Santiago Mele

Santiago Mele was born in Buenos Aires in 1980

He started his career as photographer in 2000 attending workshops in photojournalism, essays and edition.

In 2003 started several journeys recording the cultural diversities of Latin America, the subject where he focus his work. At the same time, developed cultural interchange workshops in native communities in Jujuy, Northern Argentina.

In 2006 he settles in Dominican Republic, creating the essays “Mambo Violento” and “El masacre se pasa a pie” in haitian border.

During 2009 he travelled in Argentina, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador and Colombia creating several photo-reportages and professional works.

In 2010 he came back to Buenos Aires. Currently he is working as graphic reporter freelance collaborating in several media and doing independent documentary essays.

In 2008 he obtained the first prize and a Schoolarship at Bevilacqua La Masa Foundation of Venice.

He realized photographic documentaries in an italian prison and in a ugandan hospital, then published on National Geographic and Current.TV.

Matteo's specialization is Communication for Non-profit. He has worked for some of the most important associations in Italy including AIRC, Lega del Filo d’Oro, Telethon and Emergency.

Ganz Toll cook ideas, drawings, wigs and a lot of funny things. They propose both in graphic and communications a particular and personal persective for each of the projects. They also develop their own content using a wide variety of techniques and formats.

Founded by Pablo Colabella and Santiago Fernández, works for agencies and studios of Argentina such as Mother Argentina,DON, Flamboyant Paradise, RDYA, Punga Vc, Rock Instrument Bureau ,DHNN, Plenty, Playful, Kapow, McCann Erickson and Craverolanis. In addition to joint projects for brand such as Reebok, Pringles, Fibertel, diario Clarin, Mun2, MTV Latin America / Europe, Luchetti, Nextel, Poncho music, Banco Hipotecario, Monedero, Chevrolet Argentina, Dr. Lemon, FX Nat Geo Wild and Sancor among others.

“Un sirviente es alguien que, cuando entra a una habitación vacía, hace que ésta parezca aún más vacía que antes”.


En el duro trabajo de construir a Stevens, ese maravilloso personaje del sirviente, para el film Lo que queda del día, Anthony Hopkins sufrió las tribulaciones habituales del caso. James Ivory, el director, le recomendó tener una charla con un viejo mayordomo de Windsor, ya retirado. Hopkins y el hombre se encontraron a tomar el té, por supuesto, y entablaron una larga y encantadora charla. Sin embargo, cuando el mayordomo ya se retiraba, Hopkins tuvo la sensación de que aquél no le había aclarado nada en concreto. Ya en la puerta, el actor insistió: “Dígame, finalmente, ¿qué es un sirviente?” El viejo mayordomo dudó un instante y luego dijo: “Un sirviente es alguien que, cuando entra a una habitación vacía, hace que ésta parezca aún más vacía que antes”.
